"Love Rain" tells the tale of Seon Inha who will do anything for the woman he loves during the 1970s, while Seo joon is a programmer who lives a free lifestyle in the present.
"Love Rain" depicts a 1970's pure love and a love from the present day at the same time. It shows how the offspring’s of a previous ill-fated couple, who met in the 1970s, managed to meet and fall in love. Seo In Ha and Kim Yoon Hee, a art student and a shy beauty, met and fell in love with each other during college in the 1970s but unfortunately their love was fated to never be. Now in the present 21st century Korea, Seo In Ha's son, Seo Joon (a liberal photographer) meets and falls in with the daughter of Kim Yoon Hee, Yuri, a cheerful and energetic girl who's personality is different from her mother's. Will their love for each other keep them together or will they have to face the same fate as their parents?
The love story continues with their second generation, Seo Jun (Seo In Ha’s son) and Yoo Ri (Kim Yoon Hee’s daughter) in the year 0f 2012. The second generation also played by Jang Geun Suk and Yoona.
The drama will focus on the essence of love in the 1970s and in the 21st century Korea.
The drama comes from respected director Yoon Seok-Ho (윤석호) who helmed super hit “season drama” ‘Autumn in My Heart’, ‘Winter Sonata’, ‘Summer Scent’, and ‘Spring Waltz’ in collaboration with famous writer Oh Soo-yeon (오수연)

캐스트 (THE CAST)
장근석 (Jang Geun Suk) will play the double role of Seo In-ha, an art student in the 1970s and a liberal photographer, Seo's son in present Korea.
임윤아 (YoonA) of SNSD will be his co-star, who will also play as double role.
서인국 (Seo In guk) will play one of a trio of university students in the 1970s portion of the drama, with buddies Jang Geun-seok and Kim Shi-hoo. His character is a law student who rules the music cafe C’est La Vie.
Kim Si Hoo as Lee Dong Wook in the 70's/Lee Ji Suk (Dong-Wook's son) Kim Si Hoo will complete the Love Triangle between Seo InHa/SeoJun and Kim YoonHee/Yuri
손은서 (Son Eun Seo) will play as one of the college girls Baek Hye-jeong in Seo In Ha's university. She forms a love triangle with Seo In-ha (Jang Geun-seok) and Kim Yoon-hee (Yoona).
황보라 (Hwang Bo-ra) is Na In-sook, a childish chatterbox who says things that hurt people without meaning to, and forms a partnership with Kim Chang-mo (Seo In-guk).
